Cali and Pickles got a new toy from Grandma tonight - it hangs on the door and when you turn it on there is a string that moves down it, around the back and up, and back down. I don't have video from when we first turned it on but they were both so intrigued and tried to figure out how it worked. Cali kept thinking that it was going on the backside of the door and just seemed really puzzled.

They played with it together for awhile, but here is video of each of them separately. First, Cali and the new toy, while Pickles patiently waited for her turn.

We thought that Cali and Pickles should get into the holiday spirit. They didn't seem to agree with us.

To make up for that photo shoot, we gave them their Christmas present early. May I present to you a cat in a bag:

We felt so bad when we saw them like this that we went and bought another one. Unfortunately since we've done that, we can't get a picture of them in them at the same time.

Cali and Pickles at the vet

Cali and Pickles had their yearly checkup at the vet yesterday and weren't too happy about it. When we got there, they quickly found a corner behind the paper towels, where they seemed to think that if they looked away no one would see them.



Am I a bad mother for thinking it was funny and taking pictures with my phone? :)

Happy Halloween!

Last night Jason and I dressed up for Halloween and went out with some friends to Broad Ripple. I was a kitty and Jason was his typical zombie character. He did such an awesome job with the makeup and got compliments all night.


And just because I think it's a cute picture - here is one of Cali and I. Pickles wouldn't cooperate for the photo shoot.
