The past 2 weeks or so have been rough in the Fletcher household, especially for a certain little boy. First, in the week after Thanksgiving he partially dislocated his elbow again. It happened at daycare but we're not sure when/how. Jason was able to follow some directions given to us and put it back into place. We took Luke to the pediatrician the next day to follow up and he was good as new!
Then early last week I came down with a stomach bug - it wasn't pretty. Shortly after that Luke had it, Jason had it, my mom may have had it, my sister had it, and my brother was the last to get it. That meant that I was home from work for 2 days, Jason for 1 1/2 days, and Luke only went to daycare one day last week.
Unfortunately Luke's diaper issues seem to be lingering from that and he has his first ever diaper rash. We're working on treating that and trying to slow his insides down too.
Oh, did I mention that during all of that he also had pink eye? Poor guy!
(Not sure if you can tell, but his eyes were swollen here with dark circles under them)
Luke is a trooper though and didn't let any of that get him down! Quite the opposite - he is into more than ever now.
Pulling himself up to a standing position in his crib, behind baby gates ...
Playing with things he shouldn't - like his daddy's Xbox
And playing with what seems to be his favorite toy now. He loves to pull up on this, play with the lamp and book on the little table - and of course beat it with his drumstick.
