Luke was able to meet with Santa (or Tatas as he's referred to around here) 3 times this year. He talked a big game going into each meeting (he was going to say hi to Santa, and tell him that he wanted to choo-choos) but when we got there he'd get really shy. He'd go up to up and reach his arms up to be picked up, but would just stare. One of the Santas was lucky enough to get a high five when we left.
One night somewhere in there before Christmas we decorated a gingerbread house. I decided to be smart (er, lazy) and buy one that was already put together so we just had to put the icing/candy on. Luke tried to eat most of it. :)
What a difference a year makes. He he is brushing the reindeer at the museum.
And lastly, I can't forget our elf. The elf on the shelf is a huge thing now it seems - the elf comes to your house to visit. He is magically in a different place every morning, because overnight he went back to see Santa. Luke didn't really get it, but loved to look for his elf each morning. Here were a few of our favorite spots:
And lastly, this has nothing to do with the holiday, but happened in December so I figured it was appropriate.
